I started my journey as a photographer in 2022, six months after moving to a new country during Covid. With little more than a camera, it quickly became clear that photography was the perfect way to make sense of my new surroundings, through the only lens I had at the time.

Before my first trip to Italy, I went downstairs to the flat where we used to live and bought my first film camera. Ever since, photography has become a way of paying attention: to places, to people, and to all the fleeting moments in between that might otherwise go unnoticed, in a world that moves much faster than my shutter speed.

Outside photography, I’m an avid reader who enjoys living hundreds of lives through the books I read, while listening to the crackle of old records. Living so close to London has given me endless opportunities to immerse myself in art, from theatre and museums to exhibitions and performances, all of which continue to influence the way I see and approach my own work.

I firmly believe that “a good snapshot keeps a moment from running away”, and my photography is an ongoing exploration of those moments: the ones that deserve to be remembered, even if only for a second.
